February 24 - Youth Event | Bowling Night at Alder Alley | 8-9:30pm We have two lanes reserved for two games at AlderAlley. No previous bowling experience necessary. In fact, the expectation is that everyone will do poorly and have a lot of fun doing it. The cost is $18 for youth over 12 years old, and $14 for those 12 and under. This total includes both games, shoe rental and taxes. Scott will pay for the group and reimbursements can be made to him (e-transfer preferred). Youth are welcome to bring some money for snacks. Please let Scott know if you are planning to attend.
February 24 - Mennonite Church Canada (MCBC) LEAD Conference All are invited to join the MCBC 2023 LEAD Conference. The presenter isDr. Mark Bakerprofessor of theology and mission in the Biblical Seminary department of Fresno Pacific University. February 25 - Mennonite Church Canada (MCBC) AGM The MCBC AGM will take place on February 25th, from 9am (8:30 sign in) to late afternoon (agenda not yet finalized). Besides the normal business, there will be a teaching segment with Prof. Mark Baker (see above). The AGM will be live-streamed (without interaction/input from online participants. Delegates will need to attend in-person to vote.) If you are interested in attending as an LMF delegate please email office@langleymennonite.ca and include in your message if you would like to attend the LEAD Conference on the 24th as well.

March 25 - Worship in Story and Song with the Global Church | 6:30-8pm You are invited to join global leaders of Mennonite World Conference (MWC) at South Abbotsford Church for a time of worship and celebration at the annual MWC Renewal event. Learn more about MWC, sing songs from the global church, hear testimonies of hope from different countries, and join in prayer for brothers and sisters in the faith from around the world. A time of refreshments and fellowship will follow.
